The decision to follow Christ, and made no compromise on His word, took us to the long, winding and narrow road. It was a decision that many people are not willing to take when times are good and every one is riding high on the rolling trade and commerce of the Nation but because of His love for us, we were taken out from our comfort zones, though cruel to our carnal understanding at first, and led us step by step to know His perfect ways.
As normal in all worldly business, there were labyrinth of lies, deception, corruption, misused of powers, double dealings, crony ism and what have you. We were trying to balance with our Christian faith and the 'corrupt' ways of the world when the Lord lovingly but firmly impressed on us to get out of the 'Babylonian system'. We were instructed to go back to basic. We stop giving givebacks and, as a result, was not awarded any government contract jobs. Eventually, we were pushed out of business and went on liquidation.
To cut the long story short, we learn to walk by faith on a day to day basis. Our walk with the Lord improved and He became the center of our life.
As the graph above suggests, the global trend of unemployment has not improved and more and more people particularly in places like India, Ceylon, Singapore, South Africa, U.K and so on are looking for part time jobs to make ends meet.
