Furnitures in a Kampung House.

About thirty five years ago, when we first move to our humble kampung house, we had to sleep on the floor which was made of hard wood. Thank God, the house was on stilt and even the ground floor was open, we were at the first floor and the wash room was half way down.
I was pregnant with our first baby boy and when I gave birth, I had to do with the little comfort the kampung had. My in-laws were quite understanding in-spite of my immaturity and unreasonable demands on them.
In spite of almost  forty seven plus years of independence, if one were to go into the interior parts of my country, there are still people living in huts, with no bedding or mattresses except the floor to sleep on.
