As we reflect on conditions and issues of life, man's total dependance on human wisdom rather than on the Word of God and His Holy Spirit, we are driven to a point of confusion and despondence, seeing how famines, wars, climatic changes and earthquakes, disease and economic turmoil all over the globe, wholesale rebellion and immoral behaviors among men and women of God,we are reminded of what Spurgeon had penned in his time, that the Church of Jesus Christ will be so torn apart that instead of shepherds feeding the sheep, we have clowns entertaining the crowds - judging from what is happening to the mega-Churches all over the world, even in Korea and America, this seems to be true. There was a survey done about the addiction of Pastors, Priests and Elders of the Church which shockingly revealed that more than 60% are on pornography and perverted sexual acts; abortion and pre-marital sex among teenagers are considered normal; 13 years old runaways from homes are found to be 200,000 a month in US alone and most of them end up in satanic child sacrifices, prostitution and human trafficking, and the list continues! We really have to go back to basic .... seeking God's mercy and divine intervention on our knees, even as Jesus reminded us that these are but one of the signs of His second coming!
